Doctor Who Animation

Our Doctor Who animation was based on an extract from the episode the Elenventh Hour. In our animation the doctor is climbing out of his tardis and looking at the damage.

We had to watch this extract from the real episode several times and make a running order list. We then took print screens of the scenes so we could print and cut out the doctor. We used a cardboard box, and some printed out gardens to make a set. In addition, we made a cut out tardis to use as well.

We used see-through projector paper to move the doctor cut outs. this was ment to make it appear as if it is doing it on its own. We also used glue tack to hold bits in place, when we could.

We used different shot types, such as close ups of the doctors head. Medium shots of the doctor and his Tardis. To create the illusionthat the doctor is looking down into his Tardis we used glue tack and tilted him and used the projector paper as a stand to stop it falling over. We also used 'zooms' and cuts.
